This is Stinkki, a beautiful African gray parrot who was in my care while text sitting in 2016 and 2017. He likes to sing Magic Moments and surf while whistling the theme to Hawaii Five-0. He made for a great company during my stay in Lancaster, England, and I will always remember how he would fly on my shoulder to share some of my peanut butter. This was an early watercolor, and a gift to my hosts.
Christine Marie Rose is an emerging watercolorist and an award-winning writer. Since 2015, she's been developing her style as a watercolorist by studying under Tilen Ti, Angela Fehr, and Jean Haines. Before this, she worked mostly in acrylic since 1987, some of which can be seen on this site. Additionally, she's written eleven books since 2008, as well as about two dozen short stories and hundreds of blog posts/articles, under both her name and the pen name O. M. Grey. She's currently working on her travel memoir from being a nomadic petsitter in the UK and Europe for three years.
