There hasn't been a writer, other than perhaps Shakespeare, who has touched my heart and soul like Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. I remember hearing about his death, and I couldn't understand why the sun was still rising and the world was still turning. That's how much his work has meant to me over the years. He's one of the reasons I became an author myself.
I'm particularly fond of his kind eyes.
Christine Marie Rose is an emerging watercolorist and an award-winning writer. Since 2015, she's been developing her style as a watercolorist by studying under Tilen Ti, Angela Fehr, and Jean Haines. Before this, she worked mostly in acrylic since 1987, some of which can be seen on this site. Additionally, she's written eleven books since 2008, as well as about two dozen short stories and hundreds of blog posts/articles, under both her name and the pen name O. M. Grey. She's currently working on her travel memoir from being a nomadic petsitter in the UK and Europe for three years.
